About NearGig

NearGig is a local marketplace built for the Balkans first. We connect people who need work done — a wedding photographer, an electrician, a tennis coach, a wedding planner — with the local professionals who do it.

What we believe

Local matters. Distance, language, and trust all degrade the further apart two people are. We optimize for proximity, surface real reputation, and stay out of the way of the work itself.

Pros and Clients arrange the work directly. We don't take a cut of the job. We don't hold money. We don't decide what's fair. Our role is to make the introduction worth your while — and then step aside.

Reputation is hard-earned and slow to launder. Reviews are mutual and blind-revealed. A deleted account doesn't reset your rating. The platform rewards Pros who do the work well, every time.

Where we are

We launch in Montenegro in 2026, with a localized site in Montenegrin and English. From there we open across the Balkans — Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia, Croatia — each opening backed by a local-language UI, local currency, and a local verification channel.

How we make money

We charge Pros for access to leads. Pros buy credits — one-off packages or a monthly subscription — and spend a credit to apply to a Gig or accept a Booking. Clients are free, always.

We do not run ads. We do not sell user data. We do not insert ourselves between Pros and the Clients they earn.
